Bluegrass Orthopaedics in Lexington, KY is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment, perform diagnostic procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. You'll work with a radiology tech assistant to support daily tasks in our clinic.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning, following radiation safety protocols, maintaining equipment, managing imaging orders in the EMR, and supporting the clinical team with patient

• Must maintain required professional licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escorting them to and from exam rooms and providing clear instructions.
• Position patients and equipment properly to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment following established requirements and regulations.
• Apply radiation safety measures and protection devices to safeguard patients and staff.
• Maintain and monitor equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Manage imaging orders and documentation within the EMR system.
• Monitor and communicate supply needs to the Radiology Supervisor.
• Support the clinical team as needed, including obtaining vital signs and assisting with patient flow.
• Maintain required professional licenses and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
