Job summary

Radiology Forward is seeking a dedicated Technologist Aide to join our patient‑centered team. You will greet patients, verify details, collect copays, and assist in coordinating care to ensure timely exams.

The role requires excellent communication, professionalism, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment. A High School Diploma and prior medical office experience are preferred, with BLS certification expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology beneficial.
• BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, collect copays, and verify information.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and necessary signatures.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Ensure sterilization of equipment and tools in each department.
• Assist technologists with patients and patient flow.
• Protect patient privacy and health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and law.
• Handle patient data and cash or portals securely.
• Be responsive and maintain professional behavior with patients and staff.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Engage diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.
• Foster cooperative working relationships across teams.
