Job summary

RadNet seeks a Technologist Aide to join a dedicated team delivering quality, value, and access in radiology services. You will greet and register patients, verify information, collect copays, and assist staff throughout the patient journey in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include obtaining authorizations, scheduling appointments, maintaining sterilization standards, and safeguarding patient data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of previous medical office experience and intermediate computer skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office work experience is preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, collect copays, and verify patient information.
• Obtain insurance/authorizations and patient information, collect signatures, ensure documentation accuracy.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized in each department before patient exams.
• Assist technologists with patients.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
