Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Radiology Technician (PRN) to perform routine diagnostic imaging in Albuquerque, NM. You will support the assigned department and ensure patient safety while adhering to policies and procedures.

The role may include clerical duties such as filing, scheduling, and data entry, with rotating shift coverage. Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or be graduates of an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or graduate of accredited radiologic program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and before direct patient care.
• ARRT or registry eligible; NM Radiologic Technologist Certificate.
• Grandfathered NM license holders exempt from ARRT requirements.
• Temporary license must become permanent within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in the assigned area as requested by a licensed medical provider.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Provide clerical support as needed (filing, records, phones, scheduling, data entry).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
• Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
• May provide clerical support for the assigned department, including, but not limited to, filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into the computer.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
• *Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements*
• Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree.
• One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.
