Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. is seeking an MRI Technician for Albuquerque, NM.

This is a variable shift, PRN position performing MRI cross-sectional imaging and related procedures under physician direction, operating and monitoring MRI equipment, and assisting in other areas as needed. The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent, ARRT/ARDMS or equivalent registration, NM licensure within a year, and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• New Mexico radiologic licensure within one year of hire.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• National certification/registry maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI cross-sectional imaging and related procedures as directed by a physician.
• Operate and monitor MRI equipment.
• May assist in other areas as requested.
• Adhere to policies and patient safety regulations.

• Responsible for performing MRI cross-sectional imaging and other related procedures as directed by a licensed physician.
• Operates and monitors MRI equipment.
• May assist in other areas as requested.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and/or Cross-Sectional Anatomy.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• Full State of New Mexico licensure is required within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree; Formal MRI Education.
• Three (3) years of experience in a hospital environment.
