Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day shift, full-time Radiology-A Diagnostic Imaging Technician in Albuquerque, NM. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support patient care in a busy radiology department.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT eligibility or certification, NM license or grandfathered status, and BLS within 14 days of hire. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Provide clerical support for the department as needed (filing, scheduling, data entry).

• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
• Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
• May provide clerical support for the assigned department, to include, but not limited to: filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into the computer.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.
• ARRT or registry-eligible, Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements.
• Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree.
• One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.
