Job summary

Western Carolina Surgery Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures as requested by a physician in an ambulatory surgery center or surgical hospital.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT licensure, state license if required, and have at least 1 year of experience with strong communication skills to interact with patients and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • ARRT licensure/certification required.
  • State DOH license if required by the state.
  • BLS and ACLS if required by the center/hospital.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
  • Work in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Surgical Hospital.

The Radiology Technologist performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Surgical Hospital.

Qualifications
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure/certification
  • State Department of Health License if required by the state
  • BLS and ACLS if required by the center/hospital
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team
