Job summary

Western Carolina Surgery Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform a range of diagnostic radiographic procedures as directed by a physician in an ambulatory surgery setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT licensure or state license where required, with 1 year of experience and strong communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• ARRT licensure/certification or state license where required.
• BLS/ACLS certification as required by center/hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by licensed physician.

FT Radiology Tech

Featuring one operating room and three treatment rooms, the center supports a variety of specialties including orthopedics, spine, podiatry, ENT, and ophthalmology. The Radiology Technologist performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Surgical Hospital.

Qualifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure/certification


• State Department of Health License if required by the state


• BLS and ACLS if required by the center/hospital


• Minimum of 1 year of experience


• Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team
