Job summary

Panhandle Outpatient Surgery Center in Florida is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging in a busy ambulatory setting. You will perform radiographic procedures as directed by licensed physicians, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT licensure, state license if required, BLS/ACLS if needed, and a minimum of 1 year of experience, with strong communication skills to coordinate with patients and the health care team.

Qualifications

  • ARRT licensure/certification required.
  • State Department of Health license if required by state.
  • BLS and ACLS if required by the center/hospital.
  • Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience.
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and health care team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician in an ambulatory surgery center or surgical hospital.
  • Ensures patient safety, proper positioning, and image quality according to physician orders.
  • Adheres to radiation safety protocols and center policies.

Radiology Technologist at Panhandle Outpatient Surgery Center

The Radiology Technologist performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Surgical Hospital.

Qualifications
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure/certification
  • State Department of Health License if required by the state
  • BLS and ACLS if required by the center/hospital
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team
