Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Tech Assistant to support the Radiology team by utilizing the Radiology Information System, basic computer skills, and clear communication with patients and staff.

You will help organize rooms, transport patients with appropriate identifiers, operate stretchers and beds, and coordinate daily schedules, while ensuring supplies are stocked and maintained in imaging areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• Experience with Radiology Information System preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes rooms and stocks linen; manages supplies.
• Uses two patient identifiers before transporting patients.
• Operates stretchers, patient beds and wheelchairs.
• Reviews daily department schedules to coordinate with Radiology team.
• Maintains imaging area supplies and informs when to reorder.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
