Job summary

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Certified and maintains BLS.
• New graduate or 1 year radiology experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to radiology suites and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
• Screen MRI patients for safety, review history, and confirm no contraindications.
• Prepare patients for radiology exams and assist with gowning and positioning.
• Act as secondary safety monitor during MRI scans under supervision of MRI technologist.
• Transport patients to and from Radiology as needed and maintain safe movement.
• Schedule, coordinate, and document radiology appointments and support HIPAA compliance.
