Job summary

Dolly Parton Children's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Tech for the Oak Ridge Outpatient Center. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation and ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear imaging for accurate diagnosis.

The role requires completion of an accredited radiologic program, ARRT registration or eligibility, and either new graduate status or 1 year of general radiology experience, with pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic program.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray, fluoroscopy, DR/CR equipment to produce high-quality images with safe, accurate technique.
• Adhere to ALARA principles, patient safety, and radiation protection guidelines.
• Verify patient identifiers and physician orders; coordinate with radiologists for optimal parameters.
• Maintain PACS/Meditech workflow and timely documentation; participate in QA and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in room setup, cleanliness, and equipment readiness; support Lean initiatives and efficient patient flow.
