Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent and eitherTech Assistant training or clinical background.
• Basic Life Support certification required or obtained within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from Diagnostic Imaging and assists with patient movement.
• Prepares room, equipment, and supplies for imaging procedures; positions patients and assists with exams.
• Assists technologists and radiologists during procedures and handles required supplies.
• Maintains infection control, ALARA radiation safety practices, and patient privacy policies.
• Assists with stocking supplies, chart reviews, and downtime coverage in Diagnostic Imaging.
