Job summary

Brown University Health’s Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI seeks a Radiology Tech Assistant to support imaging services. You will transport patients, prepare exam areas, and assist Radiographers with procedures in MRI, CT, X-ray, and Nuclear Medicine, while maintaining safety and stock levels.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, good English, and basic arithmetic, with Tech Assistant training and BLS/IV certification within 6 months. This is a night-shift, 12-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Excellent English communication and basic arithmetic.
• Prefer Tech Assistant training; BLS and IV certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to imaging modalities and ensure safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of imaging rooms.
• Assist Radiographers during procedures and prepare contrast material.
• Process information in PACS and LifeChart.
• Provide training to new staff.
