Job summary

Atlantic Health System's Newton Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Assistant to support imaging services and patient care. You will review prescriptions, handle paperwork, and assist physicians during procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience as Radiology Assistant or in patient care.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Familiarity with radiology terminology and basic computer skills.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Radiology Technologist program status is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews accuracy of patient's prescriptions prior to performing exams.
• Completes all paperwork associated with technical procedures.
• Responds to Physician's questions and needs regarding patient procedures.
• Transports patients safely within the hospital for diagnostic testing and transfers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
