Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a PRN Radiology support role at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby, OH. The position assists the Radiologic Technologist, handles patient assessments, prepares patients, and helps coordinate care within hospital policies and MRI/radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities include lifting and transporting patients, patient check-in, data entry in PAC systems, and ensuring supply availability.

Qualifications

• Assist Radiologic Technologist by completing basic patient assessments and coordinating care.
• Facilitate patient care including lifting, transport, and monitoring.
• Register and check-in patients.
• Follow hospital and departmental policies, SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Radiologic Technologist by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction.
• Facilitate patient care including, lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients.
• Assist with Radiology computer information and data entry including PAC system.
• Ensure the adequate availability of procedural supplies to include ordering and stocking patient care supply item.
• Follow hospital initiative in order to meet patient satisfaction goals.
• Follow MRI and radiation safety policies and procedures
• Follow hospital and department Core Values, SOPs, policies, and standards
• Register and check-in patients
• Communicate with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
