Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI scans for a PRN/mobile MRI truck crew on the west side. You will deliver compassionate patient care, ensure safety, and support radiology operations under radiologist direction.

ARRT-registered technologists with strong PACS/RIS/EMR skills and a commitment to learning will thrive in this role, collaborating closely with radiology staff and maintaining high patient experience standards.

Qualifications

ARRT-registered or ARRT-certified required.
Experience with MRI safety protocols and patient positioning.
Strong patient-care orientation and compassionate approach.
Familiarity with PACS, RIS, EMR systems and imaging workflows.
Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists and staff.

Responsibilities

Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist and, after orientation, may independently conduct scans if ARRT-registered.
Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
Ensures a safe, clean MRI environment and adherence to safety procedures.
Maintains knowledge of technical skills and participates in self-development.
Collaborates with coworkers and clinical staff to support department operations.
