Job summary

University Hospitals in Elyria, OH is seeking a Radiology Tech Extender to support Radiologic Technologists, assist with patient preparation, and perform clerical duties. This part-time role includes day and evening shifts, weekend/holiday rotation, and adherence to safety protocols including MRI/radiation policies.

You will assist with patient assessments, transport, data entry into PACS/EHR, and ensure supplies are stocked. A High School diploma and <1 year of customer service are required; BLS certification upon hire is required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• <1 year of customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of basic patient care.
• Familiarity with PACS/EHR systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologic Technologist with patient assessments and preparation.
• Coordinate patient care with healthcare team and communicate effectively.
• Transport, lift, and monitor patients as needed.
• Assist with radiology data entry and PACS/EHR documentation.
• Maintain supplies and ensure MRI/radiation safety policies are followed.
