Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an entry-level support associate to assist radiology services. You will help with patient registrations, ensure proper orders, and support patient movement and care within the CT Scan department at Muhlenberg site.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interactions, teamwork, and adherence to safety and departmental procedures. Evening shifts with a Monday–Friday schedule may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• Less than 1 year in a customer service role is acceptable.
• Demonstrates compassion and positive demeanor with patients and staff.
• Ability to multi-task and organize assignments.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Able to follow directions and provide accurate reports.
• BLS certification within 30 days (Pennsylvania).

Responsibilities

• Confirms orders and ensures documentation is complete.
• Provides patient care and related activities with a patient/family centered approach.
• Notes findings and communicates with RN or Technologist as needed.
• Uses effective verbal and non-verbal communication with patients and staff.
• Participates in orientation of new staff as requested.
• Maintains accurate information in the system and supports patient care clerically.
• Performs registrations as required.
• Ensures safe movement of patients and supplies within the department.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
