Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking a patient-focused Radiology Support Specialist to assist Radiology and department communications. You will relay non-critical results to referring providers at the Radiologist's request and triage messages for review.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work with providers, technologists, nurses, and patients, plus familiarity with electronic systems. CPR certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong customer communication skills.
• Knowledge of electronic-based systems.
• CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support Radiologist and Radiology department communication.
• Communicate non-critical results to referring providers as requested.
• Triage messages and requests for Radiologist review.
• Coordinate as liaison between ED, OR and other departments to relay information.
• Assign routine outpatient exams to radiologists on service daily per algorithm.
