Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a Bank Radiographic Assistant (Band 2 or Band 3) to support clinical staff in X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound services across Radiology sites in Perth, Dundee and Angus. This bank position involves providing general assistance and ensuring smooth radiology operations.

Clinical experience as a Healthcare Support Worker or similar is required; training specific to Radiology will be provided. The department operates 24/7 and weekend/evening shifts are a key requirement.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience as a Healthcare Support Worker or similar is required.
• Willingness to undergo radiology-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered staff with general X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound procedures across Radiology sites.
• Support 24/7 Radiology services, including weekend and evening shifts.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
