Job summary

Nuffield Health Oxford is seeking a part-time Radiology Assistant to support radiology services at our modern hospital. You will assist patients, prepare them for imaging and support Radiographers and Radiologists in daily workflows.

Experience in healthcare and a Level 2 Healthcare Qualification are required. The role offers the chance to contribute to high-quality, safe patient care in a renowned medical environment with excellent transport links.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience required.
• Level 2 Healthcare Qualification required.
• Caring and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients throughout their time within the department and prepare patients prior to imaging.
• Assist Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily work list and patient workflow.
• Assist Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations.
• Deal with service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems.
• Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering.
