Job summary

King Edward VII's Hospital in London is recruiting a Radiographer (Bank) to join our Imaging team. You will deliver high‑quality radiographic work across multiple modalities and operate a range of imaging equipment within a supportive, high‑performing department.

The role requires HCPC registration, a BSc in Radiography and at least 4 years post‑qualification experience. You will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with on‑call and weekend MRI duties as you progress.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography (or equivalent)
• HCPC registration
• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification experience
• Postgraduate training and/or experience in CT and/or MRI
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high‑quality radiographic examinations in line with IR(ME)R regulations and local policies
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment across CT, MRI, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, General X-ray and DEXA
• Contribute to on‑call rota and weekend MRI service as competency grows
• Lead day‑to‑day workflow in designated areas and support junior staff
• Participate in quality assurance programmes and incident reporting
• Support induction and development of new staff and CPD activities
