Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a Nuclear Medicine Supervisor to direct and coordinate daily department activities, including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. You will act as liaison between the department and referring physicians, ensuring seamless care for patients across age groups.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nuclear medicine program graduate credential, ARRT/ARDMS/MRI/CT registrations, and at least three years of clinical experience with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.
• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT); or Registered by ARDMS; OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.
• Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between the department and referring physician offices.
• May work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine supervisor serves adult and geriatric patients.

Education

Accredited nuclear medicine technology program

Certification or registration as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by NMTCB/ARRT/ARDMS/AMRIT/CT MRI tech

Three (3) or more years of clinical experience

BLS certification from the American Heart Association
