Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as a liaison between the assigned department and the referring physician's offices.
• May work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine supervisor serves adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Required: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
• Required: Three years of clinical experience
• Preferred: Supervisory experience
