Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist Supervisor to provide day-to-day supervision for an assigned Radiology area. The role includes ensuring procedures are performed by qualified staff, adhering to ALARA and ACR guidelines, and maintaining safety and quality.

The Supervisor collaborates with lead technologists and staff to resolve issues and drive operational excellence. Requirements include ARRT certification for Diagnostic Supervisor and related specialty registries.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required for Diagnostic Supervisor.
• Specialty registries aligned to department (e.g., Mammography, CT, MRI, Interventional).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workflow for assigned Radiology area; ensure high-quality, ALARA-compliant imaging.
• Lead staff education, competency development, and adherence to policies; collaborate with other Supervisors and faculty.
• Ensure safety, quality, and cost-effective care; report to Modality Manager; manage clinical operations.
