Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Radiology Student Tech to support diagnostic imaging under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist. You will help review patient information for radiographic exams, assist with patient transport, and ensure safety during procedures.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a radiology program, have completed at least one year with GPA 2.5+, and may need BLS/ GXMO credentials. This role involves hospital-based duties and on-site work at Fairfield.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program and has successfully completed one year of school with a GPA of 2.5 or higher (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)
• GXMO (General X-Ray Machine Operator) state limited license (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)

Responsibilities

• Provides lifting assistance and escorts patients to and from Radiology.
