Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to prioritize and schedule patient examinations and provide prep instructions. This role also handles incoming calls and routes inquiries to the appropriate staff.

The position requires coordinating with radiology staff and physicians, managing multiple exams, and delivering timely information on exam content and timetables. Shift is Saturdays 6:30am–4:30pm with potential additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using computers in an office setting and data entry.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Medical terminology or training preferred.
• Experience in a Radiology setting preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for examinations and provides prep instructions.
• Coordinates emergency and add-on examinations with staff and radiologists.
• Prioritizes examinations and coordinates multiple exams across departments.
• Provides information on exam content, prep instructions, and timetables.
• Acts as liaison between physician offices and department for preps and information.
• Answers department phones and routes calls to appropriate personnel.
