Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to prioritize and schedule patient examinations and provide preparation instructions. The role includes answering phones, coordinating with radiology staff, and guiding patients through timetables and content.

Shift details include Saturdays 6:30a–4:30p with potential for additional hours. This position involves extensive interaction with physician offices and care teams to ensure smooth operations in a busy imaging

Qualifications

• Experience using computers in an office setting or doing data entry.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Medical terminology or training (preferred).
• Experience in a Radiology setting (preferred).
• Bilingual (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for examination and provides exam prep instructions.
• Coordinates emergency and add-on examinations with technical staff and radiologists.
• Prioritizes patient examinations and coordinates multiple exams with other areas.
• Provides information about examination content, pre-exam instructions and timetables.
• Liaises between physician offices and department regarding preps, information and issues.
• Answers calls to the department and routes to the appropriate personnel.
