Job summary

T2 Group is hiring Radiology Patient Scheduling Representatives to coordinate diagnostic imaging appointments (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X‑ray, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine). This full‑time remote role supports a leading healthcare organization with HIPAA compliance and patient‑centered service.

You will handle scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness in a fast-paced call center environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred.
• Must have experience using Epic EMR/EHR.
• Navigate Epic scheduling, registration, and patient access workflows.
• Review orders, demographics, insurance, and appointment details within Epic.
• 1–3 years of healthcare scheduling or call-center experience preferred.
• Prior radiology scheduling experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures per orders and protocols.
• Review imaging orders for completeness before scheduling.
• Obtain and verify patient demographics, insurance, and registration details.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, offices, and providers about appointments.
• Educate patients on preparation, documents, arrival times, and expectations.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling based on modality availability and patient needs.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations when required.
• Document scheduling activities and patient interactions in the systems.
