Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical terminology and clerical experience.
• Programming/maintenance experience in Meditech Radiology and scheduling modules.
• Word processing and computer data input experience.
• Customer service skills in telephone communications.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls professionally and courteously.
• Uses Meditech scheduling module to schedule procedures across imaging departments.
• Provides imaging interpretation reports and films upon request and distributes reports.
• Maintains patient records to comply with regulatory requirements and filing systems.
• Represents the department as a super user for Meditech and tests system modules.
• Trains staff on operating Meditech and related scheduling tools.
