Job summary

Dignity Health - Arroyo Grande Community Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other imaging modalities, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for Radiologists and timely patient care.

The role requires proficiency in workflow, patient positioning, and accurate image capture, with responsibilities including scheduling distribution, order entry, and handling reports and films across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical setting, preferably radiology.
• Experience in admitting scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Insures daily schedules are distributed to Radiologist, Imaging sections and Admitting department.
• Process examination requests for inpatients and complete order entry into computer system as necessary.
• Answer telephones and takes messages.
• Process patient film jackets for examinations.
• Answer telephone requests for examination reports and call reports to offices as needed.
• Pull films for clinics and physicians offices as requested.
