Job summary

Fort HealthCare in Wisconsin is seeking a Radiology Scheduler to join our Radiology team. This full-time role schedules diagnostic imaging exams, verifies insurance, and ensures patient prep and accurate demographics.

You will coordinate with radiologists, surgeons, and other care providers, manage appointments, obtain consent forms, and upload outside imaging into PACS. The position requires a high school diploma and 1 year of medical office and radiology scheduling experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year medical office experience.
• Minimum 1 year radiology scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with care team, patients and families.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules diagnostic imaging exams and verifies insurance information.
• Relays exam prep information to patients; cancels and reschedules as needed.
• Coordinates imaging guided procedures with radiologists, surgeons, anesthesia, etc.
