Job summary

IU Health Fort Wayne is seeking an experienced Radiology Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team on days. The RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, procedural monitoring, patient education, and post-procedure recovery.

An ASN is required with RN licensure in Indiana (BSN preferred). BLS and advanced life support certifications are expected, with opportunities for relocation

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• RN license in Indiana must be active.
• BLS certification required; additional ALS may be required per unit.
• Two years of acute care experience may be considered for exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure assessment and preparation for radiology procedures.
• Monitor procedural sedation and educate patients.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and the care team.
• Contribute to care planning and clinical decision-making.
