As a Radiology Registered Nurse, the RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, sedation monitoring, patient education, post-procedure recovery care, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred; RN licensure in Indiana or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional life support may be required.
• Two years of acute care experience may be considered for exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology.
• Perform pre-procedure assessment and preparation, monitor sedation as needed.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
