Job summary

IU Health in Indiana is seeking a registered nurse for the Cath Interventional Radiology/Pre-post unit. The role focuses on hands-on patient care during heart catheterizations, IR procedures and electrophysiology cases, with teamwork and rapid decision-making in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of critical care experience preferred.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification through the AHA is required; other advanced Life Support certs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for patients undergoing diagnostic heart caths, interventional cardiac caths and electrophysiology procedures.
• Support interventional radiology and Cath lab procedures for acutely ill patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and Radiology technicians to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-care instructions and recovery expectations.
