Medical City Weatherford is seeking a Radiology Assistant (PRN) to support Diagnostic Imaging operations. The role will store, file, and retrieve x-rays and reports, and manage image distribution with timely handling of requests from patients, physicians, and staff.

The position emphasizes accurate filing, prompt communication, and coordination with legal and other departments to process subpoenas for images and reports, building a reliable patient data workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of extensive filing or medical records experience in a medium to large acute care facility or clinic.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• GED required.

Responsibilities

• Stores, files, and retrieves x-rays and reports for Diagnostic Imaging.
• Distributes images and reports; handles copying, mailing, and delivery in a timely, organized manner.
• Responds to patients, physicians, and office staff by phone and in person to process requests for files and reports.
