Medical City Weatherford is seeking a Radiology Assistant (PRN) to support Diagnostic Imaging operations. The role will store, file, and retrieve x-rays and reports, and manage image distribution with timely handling of requests from patients, physicians, and staff.

The position emphasizes accurate filing, prompt communication, and coordination with legal and other departments to process subpoenas for images and reports, building a reliable patient data workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of extensive filing or medical records experience in a medium to large acute care facility or clinic.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• GED required.

Job Summary

Stores, files, and retrieves x‑rays and reports for Diagnostic Imaging. Responsible for image distribution with duties related to copying, mailing and delivery of images in a timely and organized manner. Responds to patients, physicians and their office staff by telephone and face to face to process requests for files and reports. Works closely with legal services and attorneys to handle subpoenas for images and reports. Acts as a liaison for staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians, corporate/division staff and other departments within the facility.
