Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Yuma, AZ. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, a license, BLS, and ARRT (T) certification.

The therapist will operate Varian equipment, use EPIC EMR, and support the start/stop of the treatment beam with patient positioning and safety at the forefront. Shifts are 8 hours, typical 7am-5pm, with rare weekend work.

Description:Two years of experience required minimum.General certification requirements include BLS and ARRT.Average number of treatments is 40-45 per day.The department has two treatment rooms.No floating or covering of other areas required.Common job duties include assisting patients on and off the table.The therapist will support the start and stop of the treatment beam.A radiation physician is in-house.There are no IV starts required in this position.Shifts begin at varied start times from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.Weekend requirements are very infrequent.There are no holiday requirements.This position does not require call or standby duties.Self-provided black scrubs are required.There is one unit-specific orientation.Cancellation policy allows for client cancellation equivalent to guaranteed hours.The charting system used is EPIC.
