Job summary

The Radiation Therapist at vTech Solution delivers prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and established protocols.

You will perform patient verification, treatment safety checks, image verification, and participate in patient education while collaborating with Radiation Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure precise treatment delivery in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical radiation therapy experience.
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience in radiation therapy.
• Active ARRT(R)(T) certification and up-to-date state license.
• BLS certification.
• Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiation Therapy.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC/ARIA).

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Perform patient verification and treatment safety checks, including identity confirmation, imaging verification, and treatment timeouts.
• Acquire and evaluate treatment imaging (KV, MV, CBCT) to ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery.
• Review treatment plans and conduct patient chart checks to identify discrepancies and maintain treatment accuracy.
• Provide patient-centered care and education throughout treatment.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

A minimum of 3 years of clinical radiation therapy experience and relevant licensure are required.

Scheduling:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.


• Day shift schedule with no weekend or holiday work.
