Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Radiation Therapist to join a 13-week assignment with day shifts, providing care across diverse patient ages. You will administer treatments, work with imaging techs, and educate patients and families about procedures.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year in radiation oncology. Expect to follow safety protocols and participate in cross-unit coverage as needed.

• ARRT certification is required to practice as a radiation therapist.

• Experience using EMR systems, specifically Epic.

• Patient care experience in a radiation oncology department preferred.

Description: This position requires Monday to Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Times may vary depending on patient coverage needs. Floating to other facilities may be necessary for coverage. Staff will float only to units for which they are qualified. Responsibilities include care for a range of patient diagnoses including benign brain tumors, kidney cancer, leukemia, and more. Experience with various treatment procedures such as IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and external beam therapy is expected. The role involves patient and family teaching as well as the use of advanced imaging techniques and equipment. Safety protocols and best practices for radiation therapy will be observed. Staff must adhere to compliance training and completion of required modules. Interdisciplinary support services will be available to assist in patient care. The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This role may require participating in emergency cases and utilizing rapid response techniques.
