Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Radiation Therapist to administer prescribed radiation therapy and manage treatment plans for patients. The role requires operating advanced radiotherapy equipment, ensuring dosages match physician instructions, and documenting all patient data with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, familiarity with QA procedures, and the ability to develop immobilization devices and treatment records.

Description:Administers radiation therapy in accordance with physician instructions and the patient's treatment plan.Enters data into the computer and sets controls to operate and adjust equipment and regulate dosage.Assists physicians and clinical physicists with the physical and technical aspects of radiation treatment plans.Constructs patient immobilization devices as ordered.Maintains patient and billing records, reports, and files according to department policies, including radiation dosages and equipment settings.Performs routine and complex radiation therapy treatments according to established practices and standards.Prepares equipment and room for patient procedures.Uses appropriate protective equipment and procedures to ensure safety of patients and self.Performs quality assurance procedures per state and federal guidelines.Provides clinical instruction and evaluation for student radiation therapists.
