Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform fluoroscopic GI/GU and MSK procedures under supervision. You will present images for interpretation and assist in training Radiology Residents during fluoroscopic rotations, while maintaining ALARA and safety protocols.

The role emphasizes strong communication with staff, adherence to confidentiality, and ongoing participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized RPA or RRA program.
• RTR/ARRT national certification in good standing.
• Massachusetts state license for advanced practice radiologic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of Fluoroscopic GI/GU and MSK procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Presents fluoroscopic images for interpretation and dictates preliminary results.
• Assists Attending Radiologist in training Radiology Residents during fluoroscopic rotations.
• Maintains ALARA and adheres to NRC/DPH safety guidelines.
• Instructs Technologists and Fluoro Aides assisting with exams/procedures.
• May participate in interventional procedures.
• Handles ABN chart reviews and related follow-up tasks.
• Answers and manages incoming calls per Lahey Clinic guidelines.
• Keeps current on department activities and policy communications.
