You will present images for interpretation and assist in training Radiology Residents while upholding ALARA safety standards and NRC/DPH guidelines. The role emphasizes patient and staff safety, careful chart reviews, and adherence to confidentiality and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized RPA (CBRPA) or RRA (ARRT) program.
• Massachusetts Registered Radiologic Technologist certification in good standing.
• Massachusetts state license for advanced practice (Radiologist Assistant).
• National Registered Radiologic Technologist certification (RTR) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of Fluoroscopic GI/GU and MSK procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Presents fluoroscopic images for interpretation and dictates preliminary results for Attending Radiologist to finalize.
• Assists Attending Radiologist in training Radiology Residents during Fluoroscopic rotation.
• Practices established radiation protection and safety protocols for self, staff and patients with 100% accuracy.
• Instructs Technologists and Fluoro Aides assisting with examinations/procedures.
• May participate in Interventional procedures in time.
• Follows up chart review on ABN.
• Handles confidential information per policy.
