Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Assistant capable of performing a wide range of fluoroscopic GI/GU and MSK procedures used for diagnosis and treatment. You will present images for interpretation and provide preliminary results to the Attending Radiologist for finalization.

The role includes assisting radiologists in training residents, maintaining ALARA safety standards, and potentially participating in interventional procedures; adherence to NRC/DPH guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized RPA (CBRPA) or RRA (ARRT) program.
• Massachusetts Registered Radiologic Technologist license and advanced practice license.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of Fluoroscopic GI/GU and MSK procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Presents fluoroscopic images and dictates preliminary results for Attending Radiologist to finalize.
• Assists Attending Radiologist in training Radiology Residents during Fluoroscopic rotation.
• Practices ALARA and radiation safety protocols with adherence to NRC and DPH guidelines.
• Instructs Technologists and Fluoro Aides assisting with examinations and procedures.
• May participate in Interventional procedures.
• Follows up ABN chart reviews.
