Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Transporter to move patients to and from Radiology modalities using carts, wheelchairs, and beds. Under supervision of transport supervisor and nursing leadership, you will assist staff and ensure forms are completed accurately.

Required is current BLS certification and demonstrated EKG competency; 1-2 years acute care experience is desirable. You will work with a team dedicated to safe patient transport and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Must demonstrate EKG competency.
• 1-2 years acute care experience desirable.
• Demonstrates good organizational skills and professional communication.
• Performs duties independently with general guidance from supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from Radiology modalities using carts, wheelchairs, and beds.
• Assists technologists/nurses in moving patients and ensures forms are filled out completely by all staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures while performing duties.
