Hmixray is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner and to verify insurance and patient information with accurate documentation.

You will collect co-pays, answer calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely care while safeguarding patient data and privacy. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service is preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide directions and orientation for preparatory and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and patient property in accordance with policy.
