Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic BLS certification may be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exam prep and transport between rooms and departments.
• Generate requisitions and check schedules using radiology computer systems.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and respond to routine inquiries; schedule appointments as needed.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, radiologists, and technologists.
• Provide radiology reports or images to staff, and manage records and film releases.
• Document observations and communicate needs to the health care team.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality monitoring of imaging equipment.
