Qualifications

• Must obtain CPR (Basic Life Support) certification once in position.
• Strong clinical and human relations skills.
• Basic knowledge of office duties and equipment.
• Understanding of age-related growth and development to provide appropriate service and safety.
• Proficiency with telephone, fax, basic computer/keyboard skills, Epic, PACS and copy machine.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with preparation for exam, during and after exam.
• Establish positive rapport with patients and explain what to expect at each step.
• Communicate with radiology team to assure smooth transitions in care.
• May assist the technologist or radiologist with basic patient care.
• Perform general clerical tasks to ensure efficiency during imaging exams and services.
