RadNet in Florida is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy of documentation. The role requires a friendly, service-oriented approach and strong communication skills in a fast-paced radiology setting.

You will log co-pays, answer calls, schedule appointments, provide safety briefings, and coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely patient care while safeguarding patient information.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills are required.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service is required.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.
• Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
• Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
